Zusammenfassung

Understanding the Bible: The Compass Of Purpose explores how faith, free will, and God's plan give direction and meaning to human life. Through the biblical story, this book examines the choices people make, the consequences of those choices, and the way God continues to guide humanity toward redemption.

From creation and the origin of conflict to the stories of biblical people, the coming of Jesus, the Church Age, prophecy, judgment, and restoration, the book follows a divine timeline that connects the past, present, and future. It considers how God's knowledge and human freedom can exist together while emphasizing the importance of personal choices.

At the center of the journey is Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of God's purpose through His life, death, and resurrection. The book explores repentance, forgiveness, inner renewal, and the call to live faithfully in a world filled with distractions and competing priorities.

The Compass Of Purpose encourages readers to look beyond temporary circumstances and consider the greater direction of their lives. Through faith, obedience, compassion, honesty, and daily choices, readers are invited to reflect on how their lives can become part of a larger story of purpose, restoration, and hope.

Bruno Marian served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, worked various jobs, and remained active in the church. Yet one question stayed with him: what, exactly, were humans meant to choose with the free will God gives? Even after reading more than a dozen Bibles, the answer still seemed hidden.

Years later, Bruno began waking in the early morning with scripture on his mind, until one insight finally clarified everything: the Bible shows both how God wants people to live and how people actually live. That contrast, he realized, is the core of free will.

Believing God wanted him to share this understanding, he began writing Understanding the Bible to pass on the insight that reshaped his faith.
