Zusammenfassung

In what begins as a prequel to The Nova Quadrant, Untas Ursulanus and his bandits have reached full strength. They gobble up riches in every raid. What's not to love about a dystopian world? Few rules; few obstacles; and fewer law enforcement officials to interfere in the UU Gang's new profession.

A mysterious traveler from a Quadrant 2 planet arrives. For his species, he is tough and vicious, but a mystical device he carries overshadows his strengths. He can bend Time itself. He can fix a mistake by jumping back one minute. Or two. Or more. He holds unimaginable power and is the only one who knows when Time changes.

Life holds little meaning. Traitors abound. Narcissism is a useful quality. Killing is the norm. Dystopia is the present. And a little creature from the other side of the known universe is hunting down and killing the UU Gang as he pulls apart the Threads of Time.

Brian discovered when he was young that he enjoyed writing, but it wasn't until he was in high school when he realized he had a gift for drawing readers into his stories. Edgar Allan Poe was an early influence; when he saw the reactions of high school classmates when they read his Poe-like stories, he became hooked on writing fiction. After a TV/Film/Radio and writing education at Oral Roberts University, Brian wrote a number of feature-length screenplays; two film shorts have been produced. After writing commentary for a mid-sized newspaper and an online site for more than a decade, Brian felt the tug back into fiction. His first novel, Children of the Sun, is a story which goes back to his younger days, when he imagined space aliens coming to claim him as one of their own while other aliens tried to kill him.His fascination with dreams led to the psychological thriller Dead Dreams, and his enjoyment of exploring his characters' descent into mental chaos served as the basis for Wager of Death. His family ties are reflected in the true World War II story Paper Doll, which follows his grandfather's family through the deeply challenging years of 1937 through 1945. His most recent novel, The Nova Quadrant, features his dive back into sci-fi.When Brian isn't writing novels, he is either working on scripts, such as Star Trek fan films, or judging films for a handful of different film festivals and contests. With a range that runs from sci-fi to psychological thrillers to comedy, Brian does not feel the constraints of a specific genre. The fun is in the story and characters. Over time, for your reading enjoyment, keep an eye out for what is WrittenByBWP.
