Christian Lamouroux, professor emeritus at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris, has published widely on the Song dynasty. Charles Hartman is professor emeritus of Chinese studies at the University of Albany. His books include Structures of Governance in Song Dynasty China, 960–1279 CE. Patricia Buckley Ebrey is professor emerita of history at the University of Washington and the author of The Cambridge Illustrated History of China, among other books.
